Postdoctoral

liuyaoping

She received her Ph. D. degree and B.Eng. degree from Peking University in 2017 and Beihang University in 2010.Her undergraduate research work consisted of protein micropatterning for cellular biomechanism study and cell pairing/fusion with microtechnology. She joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group since Sep. 2008 and began Ph.D. program since Sep. 2010. She was a visiting Ph. D. student in biological microtechnology and biomems group of Prof. Joel Voldman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from Nov. 2012 to Oct. 2013, and worked on the high-throughput microfluidic control of cell pairing/alignment/fusion and cell-cell interaction. Her reserch interests include microfluidics, biomems and in vitro diagnostics. Her current research focuses on development of high-throughput liquid biopsy systems for rare cancer cell separation from clinical samples and microfluidic/mems devices for cellular biological study, especially the fabrication of 3D flexible micro/nano structures.

Outside laboratory, she enjoys cooking, baking and hanging out with friends.

浑婷婷

She received her Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree from Beihang University in 2018 and Hebei University in 2015, majoring in biomedical engineering. Her previous research work is mainly about protein micropatterning and cell capture with microcontact printing method and membrane penetrative method. Then in Sep. 2018, she joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group and started her Ph.D. study in Peking University. Her research interests include BioMEMS and in vitro diagnostics.

Outside laboratory, she keeps on practicing yoga for seven years.

Graduate Students

wuyuanjian

He received his Bachelor’s degree from school of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University in 2015. He joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group since Mar. 2013. Then in Sep. 2015, he started his master’s degree study in PKU Shenzhen Graduate School. He mainly works on bio-chemical sensing of nanofluidics. His current research focuses on connection of integrated circuits and sensing chips provides a convenient way for measurement and reading out. He also interests in the process of single nanoparticle passing through a pore especially its application in bio-chemical sensing.

Outside laboratory, he likes playing computer games, singing and hanging out with friends.

He received BS degree in physics from Beijing Normal University. Currently, as a master student in Professor Wang's group, he is now interested in the implementation of novel electrowetting based display technology and other related scientific problems.

yangmin

He received his B.Eng. degree from the Department of Thermal Energy and Power Engineering of China University of Mining and Technology in 2010. Then in Sep. 2014, he started his Ph.D. study in Tsinghua University. Since Mar. 2016, he joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group. He visited Prof. Chun Yang’s group as a research assistant during the period from 16 September 2016 to 16 March 2017 in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His research interests focus on uncovering the mechanisms governing capillarity at micro/nanoscale, and optimizing the cooling system of chips.

Outside laboratory, he enjoys reading, running and playing table tennis.

She received her Bachelor degree from Minzu University of China in 2016, in Electronic and Information Engneering. Then in Sep. 2016, she started her Ph.D. study in Peking University. Since Nov. 2016, she joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group. Her research interests include microfluidics, biomems and in vitro diagnostics.

She received her bachelor degree from Zhejiang University in 2016, majoring in electronic and information engineering. Her undergraduate research is mainly about wireless power delivery in 3D stacked chips. In Sep. 2016, she started her studies for master of microelectronic in Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University, and she joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group in Mar. 2017. Her current research focuses on the design of pressure sensor with large range of static tactile sensing.

He received his Bachelor’s degree from school of Electrical and Information Engineering, ANHUI University in 2016.Then,he started his master’s degree study in PKU Shenzhen Graduate School. He joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group since Jul. 2017. He mainly works on thermal management in 3D Stacked IC, Embedded micro-channel cooling technology. His research interests include designing different types and shapes of micro-channel to reduce the operating temperature of the chip and optimization of the method for thermal simulation.

Outside laboratory, he enjoys swimming,tourism and hanging out with friends.

He received his Bachelor’s degree from school of Physics and optoelectronic engineering, Dalian University of Technology in 2016. Then he started his master’s degree study in the school of PKU Shenzhen Graduate School, majoring in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics. He joined Prof. Wei Wang’s group since Mar. 2017. Now he mainly works on the manufacturing process of semiconductor.

Outside laboratory, he enjoys reading books and seeing movies.

He received his B.Eng. degree from Shandong University in 2013, in Automation. His undergraduate research work was the research and majorization of the quasi-newton method. He joined Prof.Wei Wang’s group in May.2017 and started his Master study in Sep.2017. His current research focuses on electrowetting.
Outside laboratory, he enjoys reading and running.

zhouwenbo

He is an undergraduate in EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) at Peking University and majored in Microelectronics. He joined Prof Wang’ group in September 2016. He mainly works on clinical research based on the the High-porosity parylene-c filteration, especially in the result readout method. His current research focuses on the rapid detection of melanocytoma and basal cell tumor.

邓心玥

She is an undergraduate student in PUHSC (Peking University Health Science Center) and majored in Basic Medical Science. She joined Prof. Wang’s group in March 2018 and mainly works on microdevices for biological applications.Outside laboratory, she enjoys good eating, movies and playing the piano.

郑天峰

He is an undergraduate in Health Science Center at Peking University majored in clinical medicine and joined Prof Wang's group since Jan.2018. He mainly works on cell separation and purification using microfluidic/mems devices in cell subgroup.Hardcore player and gym maniac outside laboratory.

He is an undergraduate student in EECS(Electrical Engineering and Computer science) at Peking University and majored in Microelectronics. He joined Prof. Wang’s group in October 2015. He mainly works on Nanofluidics and its applications in highly sensitive bio molecules detection. He also works with the parylene subgroup on Parylene C micropore-arrayed membrane used for cell and protein patterning.

He is an undergraduate in EECS (Electronics EnginElectronics Engineering and Computer Science) at Peking University and joined Prof Wang’ group since Mar. 2016. He mainly works on the Parylene C micropore-arrayed membrane used for the cell filtration in the aspect of both fabrication and subsequent mechanical test. His current research focuses on the autofluorescence of the Parylene C for the cellular application like force measurement of cells and positioning on the glass wafer as well as the cellular aspect on Parylene coated Japanese PDMS. He also committed on the Parylene AF4 on its Basic parameters and properties.
